Are you looking for a home where you would live full time? Full time in a remote location? Or are you someone who just needs to escape their reality at times? Both preverences are totally okay. However, I just want to focus on the latter.

So, you have a busy job, maybe children and of course some hobbies cannot be missed. Your schedule is always full and you are always running from one appointment to the other. This could be a reason for you to want to escape life and just go some place where you can fully relax.

Maybe, you are not even that busy. but still feel stressed of just tired with the status quo. You want to switch things up a bit from time to time. Totally understandable!

For both situations, I would definitely recommend getting a second home. Placing it somewhere quiet and with beautiful surroundings. Waking up to the noice of nature or maybe no noice at all. Sleeping in untill you are fully rested, not because you have to. Enjoying your alone-time or maybe your family-time.

I think you see where I am heading with this. It is okay and even crucial to relax and take breaks from our everyday schedule. Whether you want to be alone or with 10 other people, a change of scenery can do a lot for you. Think about it, and maybe next holliday break you will have the luxury to go to your second home and think of nothing else but yourself.
